There are hundreds of music festivals all over the Midwest, but who can decide which is worth their money? With Midwest Fest, we provide a comprehensive hub where users can quickly find a music festival that best suits their interests. With the user in mind, this software is designed to provide a platform for festivals and customers to engage with one another.
MIDWEST FEST
Registration
For an easy sign-in, Midwest Fest only asks for your name and email to make an account.
Manage Preferences
Once a user registers, they have the ability to select locations and genres within their interests. The site will then use these preferences to recommend music festivals that are the best fit for each user.
Home Page
Now that a new account has been created, the user is able to post reviews, engage with other reviews, and filter through all of the festivals.
Reviews Forum
The review forum page is where the user can view other discussions topics about festivals. Registered users have the ability to add to these discussions and start their new topics.
Festival Information
The festivals page displays each music festival without the database, including all information collected and shared by the festivals. This information spans from price, location, size, lineup, rating, etc. .
Search Page
The search page gives users the ability to browse through the music festivals by band name, genre, festival name, and state. Additionally, we have included functions that allow the user to filter these results by ascending or descending date, state, city, average rating, and price.
With these functionalities we hope to give users a unique ability to refine their search based on specific needs.
Socials
This page keeps users up to date on all festival announcements, and gives you access to all social media links associated with the festivals.
